Dr Mona Amer has completed her masters and PhD degrees in civil and international commercial arbitration, as well as practiced this method of dispute resolution as a sole arbitrator, as a member of an arbitration tribunal, and as an attorney of one of the parties in arbitration case. She is also a certified arbitrator at the Egyptian Ministry of Justice and various international arbitration centers in the Arab region.
